Treatment for Recurrent pregnancy loss

Recurrent pregnancy loss (RPL) which is also referred to as recurrent miscarriage or habitual abortion is a condition defined by two to three consecutive miscarriages before 20 weeks gestation. After about two to three miscarriages, depending on the woman's age a thorough medical evaluation is recommended. Although it is a known fact that the occurrence of a single miscarriage increases with the age of a woman in both normal and in RPL patients, the rate of miscarriage increases many fold for women with RPL.
